On the other side of the Atlantic, news about Brazilian commodities and the slavery related to it, could be easily found in the newspapers in London, Liverpool and Manchester. Is it possible to quantify this mutual interest and identify informational waves in historical documents and newspapers? Are entanglements in the language and themes noticeable?
